My Story

Hi, I’m Victoria, though my friends call me Vic or Vicki! I may have had a few challenges in my life, but I don’t let anything slow me down. Back in 2015, I developed a spinal lesion that left my left foot partially paralyzed. But thanks to lots of physical therapy and my own determination, I’ve adapted like the resilient penguin I am!

I might not be able to support my weight on land, but in the water, I’m an excellent swimmer! I love spending time in the pool with my fellow penguins, and when I’m ready to get out, I make my way to the ramp and wait for my personal chauffeur—aka the staff—to scoop me up. When I’m not in the water, I’ve got a specially designed setup that keeps me comfortable and mobile.

Now, let’s talk about what really matters—neck scratches. I love them, and I expect them from everyone. If you’re near me, it’s your duty to give me some love. Ignore me, you’ll hear about it. The same goes for feeding time. I make sure everyone knows when I’m ready for more!

At 27 years old, I’m living my absolute best life. I might look a little different, but I prove every day that with a little determination, and a lot of love, you can overcome anything. I’m not just a penguin—I’m an ambassador, an inspiration, and, let’s be honest, the boss around here.
