My Story
Hi there! I’m Quinn, a small Gentoo penguin with a huge personality! Born on October 29, 2022, I quickly earned the nickname “Quinn of the Castle” because I love claiming the highest point of my exhibit. A queen needs her throne, after all!
I was lovingly fostered by my amazing same-sex parents, Cricket and Aurora, and they helped me grow into the confident, curious, and fearless penguin I am today. I’m always the first to check out new enrichment, and I love engaging with both my keepers and guests. My natural charm and intelligence make me an excellent student. I’ve mastered stationing, recall, and even my weekly weigh-ins with ease.
When I’m not ruling my kingdom, you’ll find me swimming in the lagoon with my brother, Finn, or demonstrating my natural penguin behaviors to inspire people to protect my wild counterparts. With my beauty, brains, and confidence, I’m proud to be an ambassador for my species, helping to educate and inspire everyone I meet.
