I smile and get teary eyes over this…. my daughter who passed away from Ewing sarcoma in May of 2015 loves penguins and we use to talk about why penguins where called birds and if they had feathers why couldn’t they fly, how soft their feathers would feel and how many covered their bodies. This post brought a smile to my face and made me think of her. Her answer to how much their feathers weighed was; “They are a light a fairy as they flew by and sat on your shoulders.” Thank you for making me smile after a tough day.
